Mahjong Ways 2 Slot: RTP, Bonus Features & How to Play on Pirate777 Malaysia
Mahjong Ways 2 is a PG Soft slot in the Pirate777 lobby, where its tile shows an RTP of 96%. It has no free demo on Pirate777, so the way to learn it is a small bet. This guide covers how the game plays on Pirate777, what its start screen shows about free spins and wins, how to size your bets, and where to check the RTP.
How to Play Mahjong Ways 2 on Pirate777
Mahjong Ways 2 runs on five reels. The game’s start screen on Pirate777 shows 2,000 ways to win. You set your stake with the – and + buttons beside the spin button; turbo and auto-spin sit along the bottom bar.
To play for money, log in, deposit (from RM 10 by DuitNow QR, FPX or reload PIN, or from RM 30 by Touch ’n Go, GrabPay, ShopeePay or bank transfer), open the PG Soft tab in the lobby or search for Mahjong Ways 2, and tap PLAY. The game runs in your browser, so there is nothing to download. There is no free demo of Mahjong Ways 2 on Pirate777: its Try Free button is greyed out on every build in the lobby. The low-risk way to learn it is a small deposit at a small bet.
What Is the RTP of Mahjong Ways 2 on Pirate777?
The Mahjong Ways 2 tile in the PG Soft section of the Pirate777 lobby shows an RTP of 96%; the same game’s Lucky365 tile also shows 96% and its V-Power tile 97% (count of 29 September 2026). PG Soft’s own game page could not be opened for us, and the game’s rules menu could not be opened in our read on 2 October 2026, so the lobby tiles are the only figures we have.
RTP is a long-run statistical average. Over a single session of a few hundred spins, the actual return can land well above or below that figure; the published figure is an average over a very large number of spins, not what you should expect in a given evening.
Mahjong Ways 2 Volatility and Bet Sizing
We could not read a volatility rating for Mahjong Ways 2 from PG Soft or from the game, so we don’t give it a label. Until you know how it behaves, keep each bet small.
A practical bet-sizing rule: size each spin so your money covers 150 to 200 spins. On RM 50, that is RM 0.25 to RM 0.33 a spin; on RM 200, RM 1.00 to RM 1.33. This is bankroll arithmetic, not a winning strategy — slots have no winning strategy — and only play with money you can afford to lose.
Mahjong Ways 2 Bonus Features
- Free spins: the game’s own banner says 3 or more 胡 (hu) symbols start 10 or more free spins.
- Multiplier bar: a bar of x1, x2, x3 and x5 sits above the reels in the base game.
PG Soft’s game page could not be opened for us (it refused the request on 25 September and again on 2 October 2026), so this guide does not quote a maximum win, a volatility rating or the studio’s RTP for Mahjong Ways 2.
Mahjong Ways 2 Theme and Visual Design
Mahjong Ways 2 is built from mahjong tiles: dots, bamboo and character tiles on the reels, with gold-framed tiles in the middle reels and red-and-gold dragons around the frame. It runs upright in a phone browser as well as on a computer.

— Pirate777 Editorial Team (how we check the facts). The game details come from Mahjong Ways 2’s start screen, opened in the Pirate777 lobby on 2 October 2026; the Try Free and version counts from our full count of the lobby on 29 September 2026; the deposit minimums from our cashier read on 25 September 2026. Slots are entertainment, not income: only play with money you can afford to lose, and if it stops being fun, we point players to GamCare and BeGambleAware. Pirate777 is for players aged 18 and above.
